My name is Rene Estrada, and I am the founder of True Quality Pools. At the age of only 18, I was in desperate need of a job. As I figured out my finances, I applied for a well-established pool service company in Sacramento, CA. At the time, I had zero knowledge about pools. During my interview with the owner, I was honest about only being able to offer my help and my ability to learn fast and strive to help grow the company. I was hired as a pool boy cleaner on the spot!

It took me one day to learn about the different chemicals; the rest is history! I excelled in my position to the point where I wanted to further my knowledge within the company, and I took it upon myself to learn about repairs and installation of pool equipment.

The owner was initially skeptical about my interest in learning more but decided to give me a chance. I surpassed his expectations and soon became his lead repair technician. I learned so much in the company and will always be thankful for the opportunity to expand my knowledge in the industry. Fast forward 8 years later, and I enjoyed working with pools so much that I decided to take it to the next level and start my own company, True Quality Pool Service, TRUE, which stands for Trustworthy, Reliable, Unmatched & Excellence. Today, these are the 4 core values that my company represents every day!
